- My name is Megan and I am a student at Las Positas College. This blog was conceived as part of a final project for a Feminist Philosophy class. The assignment for the project was to make a feminist statement that changed the world in a small way. I feel strongly that there is a need for women to be more accepting of themselves and be more aware of the beauty within themselves. I also feel a need for women to come to the realization that our societies definition of beauty is too narrow, restrictive and does not allow for the imperfections that ultimately make each of us unique and beautiful. This blog is my SMALL way of providing solutions to these problems.

Finally someone is speaking up against our #@$@$ society. Having these kinda commercials are the ones that keep people like me going. I am recoverying from severe anorxia. Recovery is the main thing in my life and seeing these commercials make the days easier. Thanks Again!!
